I've been playing guitar for over 50 years & setting up guitars for at least 30.
I can help you find & adjust that new or vintage style guitar of your dreams.
Resophonic Guitars:
New Resophonic Guitars are now available in New Zealand - see the new photos and the awesome little Concert Resonator Ukulele. I'm keen to help you; find, buy, setup & learn to play your guitar.
Areas Serviced:
I can travel anywhere in the Auckland Region or New Zealand if needed, but prefer the areas of Rodney District; Orewa, Red Beach & Whangaparaoa. But if you've had your eye on a guitar in Canada or America, I'll go get that for you also.
Tuition Availability:
I'm available during the day or for evening lessons, which ever you prefer.
Advanced scheduled classes can be given to groups that you have organised.
Special Guitar Finding, Setup & Tuition Services:
Let me help you find that special guitar you've always wanted. I can set it up to suit your playing ability and style, and give you lessons to get it all started, or direct you to advanced tuition for that unique style you want to develop.
I specialise in helping those who have a desire to play guitar without the hard task of learning formal music notation, but want to quickly play guitar with chords, picking or finger styles, and with the intent to develop either one specific style or many techniques. Many styles & techniques are learned from basic strum to advanced finger picking.
If you organise your own group they would receive a much better rate per person for each lesson, and individuals in these groups do very well because they have their friends or colleagues for support. Organised classes can be given to church groups, private groups or corporate groups as a motivational team building program.
Skype can be used for remote lessons if desired because you live in a region or country where private tuition is not available to you. Lessons can also be provided via smart-phone services if needed. Contact me via email to set up this type of service.
